We have for your information and convenience detailed the legal fees in accordance with the Solicitor’s Remuneration Order 1991 (as amended).
(a) Value RM 250,000.00 — Fees RM 1,750.00
The cost for preparation of the Sale and Purchase Agreement is determined by the purchase price of the property.
Consideration/Adjudication Value (whichever is higher) First RM100,000.00 – Scale Fees 1.0% next RM4,900,000.00 – Scale Fees 0.5%
eg/- Consideration RM250,000.00 RM100,000.00 — 1.0% = RM1,000.00 RM150,000.00 — 0.5% = RM750.00 Scale Fees = RM1,750.00
(b) Stamping Charges
RM3.00 per copy of agreement RM10.00 per copy with common seal.
Memorandum of Transfer
(a) Stamp Duty
For first RM 100,000.00 is at 1% of the value. For next RM 400,000.00 is at 2% of the value.

Charge

Loan Agreement
(a) Stamp duty : RM5.00 for every RM1,000.00 of the loan amount or 0.5% of loan amount (b) Loan Agreement with Power Of Attorney clause : additional RM10.00 (c) Registration of Loan Agreement at High Court : RM1.00 per printed page (d) Stamp duty on copies of Loan Agreement : a flat RM10.00 per copy
Deed of Assignment
(a) Stamp duty : RM10.00 flat
